Im not really into shooting games i like stuff more like sports but you can reccommened a shooting game if it is really good...

Man I love five games on Xbox 360. Need for Speed Carbon (Collector's Edition), Madden 07, NCAA 07, and F.E.A.R., and Rainbow Six-Las Vegas. Man I love FEAR the most on Xbox Live and the campaign mode is pretty spooky. Try renting if you are scared to buy and you wont like them.

Oblivion - It's the best RPG out there.
I know you don't like shooters but Halo 2, Gears of War and Call of Duty 3 are simply fantastic.
Any sports game is pretty fantastic. I don't play sports games, but Madden 2007 I've heard is awesome and there is a awesome boxing game out.
If you like racing games then there are plenty of those as well including Need for Speed: Carbon.
And if you're never sure about a game then go rent it and find out for sure if your going to like it.

One good shooting game is Gears of War. it got great graphic, multilayer.
For racing, Ridge Racer 6 is good. only for around 30 to 40 dollar. maybe cheaper if it is used.

Well Dead Rising, you'd either love it or hate it so maybe better to rent. If you like Racing then Test Drive:Unlimited is a great game.

some good ones are elder scrolls: oblivion and smackdown vs raw 2007. fable 2 will be awesome when it comes out next year

i like battlefield2 alot it has ggreat online play and a good story plot
