Going thru a divorce sucks any way you put it! But as far as your attorney, you need to speak your mind! Tell him/her exactly what you expect out of it all....in other words, you may have to be a bi@ch to get your point across! Remember, they are working for you! It seems like attorney's seem so interested and on your side when they first sit with you, then once you sign their agreement, you are just one of the many, many cases they are handling. If you feel real shi@y about something they tell you, seek another attorneys advice! So many out there!!!
Good luck! And remember, the longer you stay quiet, the worse it will get!

Try to reach an agreement with your ex without the use of courts. It is possible, just takes some comprimise. It is better than giving all that money to an attorney.

As far as your attorney, tell them what you expect and go from there, as you go along, things may change but only allow what you agree with. The other attorney, you don't have much control over that. I wish you luck.

how sad! just keep it short. Don't prolong the divorce proceedings. You'll save money.

Good luck!
