Dead skin, hait, paper, bugs, food items, styrofoam, the digits on a digital watch, tissue paper, coins, keys, sandpaper.
I like doing that too....we have them all over at work and I like doing the same when I can. In fact I'm gonna go look at some stuff now while I have a minute of free time.
Thanks for the idea! Have fun!
:)

Different insects are pretty cool! When I was a '' teacher for the day '' in 8th grade, I brought my telescope to school and had everyone look at things like fleas, flys, and all kinds of other bugs!!! Everyone loved it!!! Good Luck!

Virtually anything. Hair roots, for example - fascinating. A very thin piece of onion, you can see the cells. A fly wing. Pollen. The tip of a needle, see how blunt it actually is!!
Just try it.

the thing i had the most fun with was the cheek cell. you can scrape the inside of your mouth lightly with a toothpick "wipe it" onto a place and put a drop of iodine in it. and you can see your own cell!
