I am a 42 year old female. I have only one "real" female friend and we talk only once or twice a week and don't go out together - ever. I have lots of male friends. It has been my experience that on the whole, most women can't be trusted. I tell my guy friends that I think most women are back-stabbing, two-faced, self-absorbed, petty little things. I know I am going to get slammed for this, and at my age I have stopped caring what people think, but I think guys make better friends. At least they have the guts to say something to your face instead of rushing off to the "little girls" room in pairs to bi**h about the other girl they left behind!

Well I'm a female and I would have to say that males make better friends than women. Women are just to catty and always want their way. Women tend to fight a lot and hold grudges. Guys seem to be mellow. Women are more prone to blow a situation way out of control...especially if she is PMS-ing. Most of the women I talk to agree with me. My husband is my best friend and I can talk to him about almost anything. The one thing that guys don't do too well is talk much...I haven't found to many guys that have much to say on a general basis. Then again if your talking about sports then they have lots to say...lol

it depends on the person, coz obviously we aren't all the same. i think if a girl is a true friend, she can be the best friend you will ever find. i think some girls are so caring and you can talk to them about anything, and they'll just be there for you. but its easier to find good guy friends, coz generally they are all fun and non-bi***y and can also be a shoulder to cry on. but if your girl friend isnt a real friend, just a kind of friend, then thats bad news. girls are b****y when they want to be. i know this from experience. watch out! lol

I think guys are b/c they dont really hold grudges against each other. They can be totally pissed off and beat the crap out of each other one day and be friends again the next. No matter what they have each others back. They are more honest with each other. They dont take anything really personal. They can talk about anything it seems like.

yes I agree has to be boy´s , when I was a teenager , I always hang with the boy´s , loyal, most of them ,could tell them anything and it would go no further

hard to answer this one cos i have both! my girl mates are there for everything make up men children ect but then my boy mates are thier for other things too! i have a friend that is male and he's gay and he's great cos he has the girl side and boys and great fashion sense

it depends on the guy, and the girl.
I have both, but my girlie mates don't line in "girl world" with all the politics and silent treatment and stuff. You can talk to girls better than guys, but you can have much more fun with guys cos u can flirt with them!

boys & girls because me and my sister have been friends for like ever and i have this friend aand he was a boy and hes funny but sortaa perverted beacause hell squeeze my sister&i breasts.but the reaction on his face is just 2 funnny.

Boys are better friends when you just want to have fun or something like that.....
But if you want someone to listen to you vent without trying to fix it---I think girls are better.
