DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- A mother was arrested on suspicion of killing her newborn daughter by microwaving the baby in an oven.
China Arnold, 26, was jailed Monday on a charge of aggravated murder, more than a year after she brought her dead month-old baby to a hospital. Bail was set Tuesday at $1 million.
"We have reason to believe, and we have some forensic evidence that is consistent with our belief, that a microwave oven was used in this death," said Ken Betz, director of the Montgomery County coroner's office.
He said the evidence included high-heat internal injuries and the absence of external burn marks on the baby, Paris Talley.

Yes, it's true. I think it happened about a week or so ago. I saw it on CNN, and there are many people providing articles about the incident.
Might I take a moment to get up on my platform and say that this is one sick *****! I think jail and even the death penalty is too good for her. She needs to be tortured. Seriously. When I heard this story, my stomach just turned. What a sick sick world we live in. I hope this lady rots in hell for what she has done to a poor innocent child.
And we all know she's going to plead insanity. I pray to God that they find her completely sane and just a friggin sicko idiot. Any amount of jail time or punishment they give her will be too good for her.
And thats what I think about that :)

They arrested a mother of 4 for killing 1 of her kids. Authorities believe she microwaved the baby. She should loose the rights to see her kids and ever reproduce again while waiting for the death penalty she should get.

I hate hearing things like this ...All i hurd in the news was that the babys mother put the baby in the microwave and cooked the baby till the baby died..They said that she might of been drunk..

yes, an african american lady by the name of china put her 1 month old daughter paris in the microwave and killed her, then she took her to the ER and said she didnt kow what was wrong with her, thru examination they found sever internal temperatures with no external burns so they figured microwave....the mother is stating she left the baby with a sitter and doesnt know whatr happened

There is a woman in our area that, allegedly, killed her 28 day old baby by placing her in the microwave. She is about to go on trial now. It really sickens me to hear it. unfortunately, she's not the first person to do this.

yeah a mother microwaved her baby. i forget what area of the states it occured in, but i read about it in the newspaper. its really sad, think about all the pain that innocent baby felt. the lady needs to be tortured to death as well. my opinion.

One of my friends was an EMT, and he delt with a case like this. he said it was the worse things he has ever seen.
