Yes, most of the time it is more favorable for the woman...perhaps, some judges are just learning to really listen and actually be fair these days. If so, it's about time....
seriously though....as far as property settlements go...whoever has the kids full time should get the property...so finding a good lawyer is the key. Their harder to find than a good husband though!

I think the reason this is said is because most of the time the man brings home most if not all of the money in the relationship. The woman sits at home because she can do that if the man makes the money. So the courts look at it as since the man had her stay at home and she could not work to support herself that he should give her most of the things. If you don't like that answer maybe you will like this one. The mas is the one that messes up most of the time so the woman deserves the things.

Nope, not at all. I got out of my marriage with nothing but some furniture, which he damaged before I got it. The court didn't even care.
