I need an answer by Tuesday, Dec 12th. It is in the minutes of our board meeting and now that I'm ready to leave they are questioning the pay out of my comp time. Any help or referrals would be very much appreciated.

Yes, if it is in writing. Ask to see your benefits package that spells out your wage and comp time ratio.

As an exempt employee, you're straight salary rather than hourly so unless you've got something in writing or someone in personnel or payroll backs you on this, they don't have to pay it out.

Only if you got it in writing. Otherwise it is your word against theirs and you have no proof.
