i have a sound card that won't work with windows me only win 2k...where can i find a copy of 2k? don't want amazon or e-bay to deal with........

Windows isn't going to support 2k too much longer, esp since Vista is coming out. You can buy XP still, and it won't be too expensive. Your drivers that work with 2k should work with XP as well

your pc is old so why waste money trying to up grade it when you can buy a vastly superior model with xp on it plus you will have a years warranty for you investment and a pc that is faster and better than you have now you can just buy the tower you can get good one for around £300

have you tried entering device manager and tried to up date your sound drivers by going on the net
have done this in the past and managed to get untested drivers
that work

There is a computer software clearance site I use, they sell all kind of older and more affordable software programs.
