It depend on the size of the house and work involved. (Like, do you need to move heavy furniture to clean) Also the going rate may be different in different areas of the country. Call some services as if you are potential customer and ask about their rates. This will give you an idea of what you should charge.

I think it depends on the size of house but also where you live. In los angeles there are many people who clean houses. I charge $50 for my apartment which is 1000 sq feet and she is there about 4-5 hours tops. She washes all the dishes too and folds clothes for that along with all the cleaning. Some will do laudry too for the same amount. just depends what you are looking for. If you dont live in a big city then someone might not be as readily available and charge more. But I think if you are talking about a big house (like 3 bed/2bath) I would say $80 bucks at least.

In my area, cleaning service charge $10 t0 $20 per hour.

My G/F's house maid charges $50 for a couple of hours work,once every two weeks. This is light duty work,dusting,minor vacuuming,clean bathroom. :-)=

depends on where you live, the going rate in southwest is about 50-75 per home depending on the size of the house.
West- 75-100 PH
northern US-100
PHEastern states- 150.00 PH

If you are offering a service as a housekeeper, then figure about $20 per hour of your time. If it takes three hours (reasonably) then $60

i usually charge by the hour. $40.00 an hour. (Cleaning places charge $60 an hour or more.)
