I live in detroit michigan and where is there a currency exchange besides taking it back to canada and paying to cross the bridge

Most banks in most big cities have exchanges and any bank in the downtown area should take care of this,or you could try the visitor information center in Detroit and they could help.

Since it's only $10 and you live near the border, why not hang on to it in case you go back for some reason.
