What do you prefer most? Religion or mankind? Is it necessary to prefer one religion to other? This is a dangerous trend; the world has suffered a lot on this question alone: which religion is to prefer over other religion?
Man should be honest, compassionate towards his fellowmen, adopt the policy of live and let live. This is the universal religion. One should not be a Hindu or Muslim, Christian, Jew or other to follow these rules.
You're still lacking maturity of thoughts as your question suggests.

I really prefer no religion, as it is the only position one can maintain and still be confident in not claiming anything without support or proper rationale. I also don't trust religious people...Christians, Jews, Muslims, they're mostly horrible people, and they hide behind their religion to make up for personal shortcomings. They can't do things just because they are good and the right thing to do, instead they have to use religion as an excuse to do the right thing. It's quite sad, really.

Not to mention all the death and destruction caused by religious people, and in the name of religion. Such a sad world we live in...

To be honest.... everyone has there own beliefs of what or whom they believe in. Others should never judge what other ethnicity religions are. But in the long run, we should all respect the religions that others believe in. For example... I'm Mormon/Christian. Mormon's are Christians are the same thing. It's just that the four book of Mormons went deep into the Christian's Story. Thats how we got the Mormon thingy goin' on. Like the State of Utah, is nuttin' but Mormons. But anyways, what I'm really trying to say is, it don't matter what religions others believe as long as we all believe and praise one God. Who is our Lord and Saviour. Thnx for the Talk... I'm outty... c-yah

I myself, dont follow organized religion, because almost all religions are against each other. I believe in a Supreme creator and a spirit God. I believe we are part of this spirit and the spirit cannot die but by this God alone. I believe almost all organized religions believe in this basic principle but each as changed it to fit their agenda or belief for some gain and or control of their adherents. I dont believe God favours any religion over any other. The most important thing is to live life treating others as you would want to be treated. Can you imagine life on earth if everyone did this?

The general idea of all religions and all mystic groups is how to commune with a kind of an Upper Entity. Every person comes with his own reason for seeking communion with the Upper Entity. For example some people wish to enjoy a good and happy life in this world, merit prosperity, health, wealth, confidence, knowing the future, to understand this world as much as possible, in order to manage their life better. Others wish to learn how to manage in the world to come (upper world) after death.

Both of these two goals are selfish and arise from man's egoism, but Kabbalah does not deal at all with them. Rather, Kabbalah aims to change man's nature in order to enable man to have qualities similar to the Creator.

The other mystic "ways to spirituality" - even though they speak about getting rid of man's egoistic desire, say so because it decreases man's suffering and gives him freedom and prosperity. Thus again the purpose is egoistic.

Kabbalistic method says that man must use everything he has in this world with the intention to give to the Creator. To reach this intention, however, man needs to sense the Creator and must feel that the Creator enjoys his deeds. This is very difficult and complicated to explain and one who studies Kabbalah begins to understand its meaning from his sensing the Creator.

I'm Pagan myself. I respect all religions. I have a bit of a problem with some of the followers though. The one's that think only their religion is the right one and tries to preach and shove their beliefs down your throat. Those people give all the beautiful religions a bad name.

“Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isaai hum sab ek hain toh yeh kaisa pagalpan” (Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian we are all one, so why this madness?). I believe that religions reform. That all faiths, with new times, new ideas, new interpretations of scriptures, different viewpoints. Did the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) not say to serve our Creator, to serve our fellow living beings? That we are all brothers and sisters of humanity? We must practice Fortitude. Compassion. We must remember this country has always had a radical tradition of dissent.

My faith is between me and Allah, and I worship only Him, and He knows all secrets and all hearts, and if I live true to Allah, love Allah, and true to my soul, there is no one who can testify against me.

No religion.
All religion is nothing but superstition and fear wrapped in dogma, all for which this is no evidence of any kind. It preys on ignorant humans' fear of dying to control their minds and to get them to blindly follow arbitrary leadership. It makes sheep out of already ignorant people.

I prefer people who use their brains, who question what "leaders" tell them and demand proof for outrageous statements, who understand there is no evidence of a magic guy in the sky to pray to, and who learn the history of how religion has always been used to control the masses, to divide people along doctrinal lines, and to justify their wars and agression.

Reason, knowledge, and logic over superstition and fear any day.

preference is given to people that treat others the way that they want to be treated. Religion is personal and not to be used for guilt trips and harassment. No one person or sect has all the answers, and if they do you can see the actions and not feel the sting of the so called loving wrath!!!!!!!

I´m from México, my country is very spiritual, but the people in really fanatic with catholisism, that for me is the worst religion of all. There is alwyas one guilt for everything, and the symbol of Christ in the cross, I considered it very violent and obscene. I admire Hinduism, but is really complicated to understand in my culture, son I´m studying real hard. I´m fascinated with Shiva Lord.
