Im in good health. Im the NINTH child and ALL of my brothers and sisters have kids (lots), my mom had no trouble concieving me and YET I havent concieved.... Im so extremely upset. I've been trying with my husband for 3+ years, he already has a daughter and is in GREAT health. I just found out that my X who I tried with for a year got his girlfriend pregnant.... So nothing is wrong with him. IT MUST BE ME! I went to the doctor to have my tubes checked and they're fine... WHAT IS WRONG?????

Have you tried to see a fertility specialist.. Just because your husband has a child does not mean that his sperm is ok any longer.. I am not saying it isnt but there is a possibility. I am on fertility drugs as of right now and I have been trying to concieve for 4 year also. I found out I have PCOS which is polycystic Ovary syndrome and now im getting treated for it. .Have a specialist do a fertility workup on you and your hubby. It will take away a lot of stress if you find out whats up.. GOOD LUCK!!!

1)Chill
2) Get a book called the Ovulation Method & Follow it, you'll have to go 2 or more moths without sex, but it is worth it (85% Accurate when trying to get pregnant, 98% for trying to not get pregnant)
3) Take it easy and don't make "Making a baby" work. Enjoy it. You doc says you are fine then it's mainly stress that is causing it. You may also need to take vitamins. Sometimes if your immune system is imbalanced your body will read an embryo as an illness and destroy it.

You can't stress over it. This causes a hormone in balance. If this happens it's extremely hard to get pregnant. That's why when women have a lot of babies unplanned. But when you're trying it's very stressful. That's why women have a hard time when they are ready to conceive, because they want it so bad they get stressed then the hormones go crazy and they can't get pregnant.
I am in the same exact situation. My ex that I was trying to get pregnant with for a year has a baby on the way now. My fiance has a daughter so I feel the same way as you. You just can't blame yourself. You have to sit back and enjoy making love with your partner.
Good luck!!

If you have been checked by your doctor and all seems okay, then the problem could be the stress that you are putting yourself through. A lot of women completely stress themselves out with trying to conceive, and often get negative results, as stress can affect your ability to become pregnant. I wouldn't worry about it so much. Just calm down, don't rush things, and it will happen when it is meant to happen. Good luck

Your doctor just did an hsg for blocked tubes and nothing else?? Just said, 'Everything as far as that goes is fine' and sent you on your way?? That seems odd.
It could be different things. Maybe you aren't ovulating. Are you regular with your cycles? You can chart your temps for free at fertilityfriend.com to see your patterns.
Timing can be everything and by knowing your fertility signs and window be mean the world, too.

Your Dr can send you for a blood test on the 21st day of your cycle to make sure that you are ovulating...just because you get your period every monthd does not meanthat you are ovulating. Ask your Dr about taking clomid to help the process along. $ years is a long time to keep trying with no results

Welcome to the world of infertility. It is a difficult struggle. Make an appointment with a Fertility Specialist to have a FULL workup of your fertility health. Once he/she determines the reasons behind your infertility, you can begin various treatments to hopefully help achieve pregnancy. I found that knowing why I wasn't getting pregnant made the struggle a little easier. Good Luck!!!

just stop stressing about it....just look at everyday events...there are more unwanted pregnancies that planned ones...so enjoy sex but stop thinking that you are making a baby everytime you do it. I'm not sure why you haven't conceived but maybe there's something else wrong that the dr hasn't determined. I think you and your husband should be checked. Doesn't matter if he has a child already.
