Does anyone know any websites for detailed diagrams of Rivers or Streams?

I know it seems like a silly question but I've been searching for ages and just come up with rubbish! I have to do a poster for college with a detailed diagram of the river sort of cross section and that.

i don't know how detailed you want it but download google earth and you can get a birds eye view of everything! its great
