Speedskating... is a more appealing sport because there is alot of action jammed into a short amount of time. There are also better odds for an underdog to win, because an element of chance is included.
Curling...is more like chess or darts. It is more strategical than physical. Obviously, it is more fun to play darts or chess than it is to watch darts or chess.
Conclusion...Speed skating should be a primetime event, while curling can keep it's 7 am slot. Both can be fun to watch, and they are both better than commercials.
