An ergonomic workstation is one that is designed so it will not cause you any aches and pains while you work. It is a structured desk and chair that allows you sit up strait with lumbar back support and gives you good rests for your arms. The key board is split in a boomerang shape so you can type more naturally. The monitor is at a better angle. Overall, better working environment, though much more expensive.

An erganomic workstation is one designed to match your body measurements to reduce the stress of your work on your body. Your chair is adjusted to match the length of your legs, your keyboard and desk are adjusted to the height of your body and the length of your arms. Your monitor is at eye level and your mouse is located in a location that gives support to your arms and doesn't hurt your shoulder. An expert arranges the workstation to fit you specifically.
