Yes. But do it in the most tactful way possible. I mean, what if it was you?

Yes, you do. Because, hopefully, you are able to put yourself in their shoes and would understand if the problem was happening with you.
Friend or stranger, go up to them and discretely tell them what the problem is, as nicely as possible, then ask if they need assistance in any way. ( Try "excuse me, but are you aware that....") The person will probably be embarassed because they are human, but they will be eternally grateful that someone cared enough to help them out, rather than laugh and snicker at them behind their back.

Um... I guess so. I mean, it could be me having an embarrassing moment (of course, except for breast out of blouse, dress caught in stockings or leakage from period... that doesn't apply here :P But men can have embarrassing moments too).

This might be somewhat embaressing but the truth is, if it was you, sure that you would like to know.
Be direct and non-judgemental, say it and walk away, they don't even need to say ,"thank you".
If you know them personally, again be direct and keep going with whatever conversation your having. Example : you have something in or out of your left nostril, hand them a tissue! They will thank you!
Don't say,"You have a dry buger hanging out your left nostril".
Have a great day and be kind to others, it might be you tomorrow that has that issue !

Yes!! There was one day at work I had a egg Mcmuffin with cheese in the morning. Well, at 5:00 I went to the bathroom to wash up and looked in the mirror and I had a huge piece of cheese hanging from my mustasche!! I talked to people all day and no-one told me! It saves alot of embarrassment if you just tell the person!!

It may be embarrassing, but yes, I would discretely tell them. I would not want to be pointed and laughed at behind my back when something like that was happening to me. I'd hope someone would be polite enough to tell me I had toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe, or something in my hair.

A true friend would take you aside and tell you that there is a booger in your nose.
Others would just let you walk around with it hanging out talking to everyone while embarrassing yourself.

If you know the person, I would definitely tell them. Really, it would be better to tell someone then to let them run around with an embarassing problem. Always be discreet, though.

I used to work with a guy that had the worst breath ever, I swore it smelled like sh*t!!! No one would tell him, but we always offered gum and mints, and he would never take them! Also there was a guy with bad BO, so we taped bath soap on his towmotor, and I tell ya what, he never stunk again!
