It wouldn't be. Islamic govenments are puppet governments of a religious leader or a totitarian ruler. There is no such thing as an independent Islamic government. Every time an Anwar Sadat tries to make one, they get shot by some Islamic fundamentalist.

Islamic governments remind me of Communist governments. A narrow selection of society who holds to the party line and gets it's orders from some local Pope.

Talk to me when the average Palestinin desses, eats, lives and has an education like the Ayotollah or President of Iran.

99% of Americans can read, do math, own a TV set, a telephone, microwave oven, have running water and electricity 24/7/365. 85% of Americans have one car, know how to work a computer and own one at home. 60% of all Americans have TWO cars.

Anyone in America, legal or illegal, who has no money is entitled to get $400 in general relief, cash each month indefinately, $150 in free food stamps, free health care at county health facilities and is eligable to get housing alottment or section 8 housing as cheaply as $200 per month.

Now, match that one Islam, because 50% of your people don't have a pot to poof in while the Ayotollah and President of Iran walk around in $500 suits and robes.

Yes the ideal government style is a democratic socialist system. Currently in the US, we have a capitalist plutocracy. For those who do not know, a plutocracy is a government in which the wealthy rule. While this is not a direct function of the U.S. government. We are in a plutocracy due to corporate bribes of politicians to carry out tax cuts for the rich. The system is rigged by the wealthy in the sense that the public's opinions are manipulated by exposure to corporate goods instead of an interest in politics. In order for our Republic to function, people need to be aware of what is occurring in our government. Instead people are too focused on social media, instead of world events. Not to mention that people don't want to stand up for their rights out of fear of the police force. Americans have such audacity to say we're a government for the people, yet a CEO's dollar has more say than the proletariat does. I feel the only way we can fix our nation is with democratic socialism. Not to go as far as communism, but a mixture of capitalist economics (competitive economy) and a socialized tax system to allow free public services, and an increase in spending on more important things like education and infrastructure.

Yes, you're right. Sharia law would be *much* better. Then, you can treat women like cattle and be a BIG man, can't you? Talk about oppressive - out goes freedom of religion, freedom of the press, just about all of our freedoms. Sharia law would never work in America unless all the women were killed. I am Republican. Look at the US and look at Iran, Saddam's Iraq, Hezballoh in Lebanon, Syria and many more. I think u have it backwards buddy. We dont reward families who go into Iraq and Israel to kill civilians. We like women's rights. We like the right to a real election instead of a "vote for me or ill cut off your head" election. We respect freedoms of speech, assembly, press and religion. We respect life itself.
