Congratulations on your pregnancy.
Honestly, I've found that different things work for different people, and, unfortunately, very often there really is no remedy at all.
As a general rule of thumb, though, nausea is going to increase when your stomach is empty. It's recommended, therefore, that if you're having morning sickness you keep things like crackers and some protein by your bedside; when you wake up in the morning eat some of these things before you even get out of bed. The idea is to not let your stomach ever get empty, so snacking on things during the day rather than eating big meals is also a good idea.
As far as specific foods; I say, go with your gut. Things like crackers often do the trick for people. Ginger is known generally to help alleviate nausea, and there are some good ginger candies out there that you can keep handy to suck on. I wasn't vomiting but had a constant level of nausea, and I ended up trying those motion sickness bands (you can find them at a health food store or a Whole Foods, or online...or probably at your local drugstore, actually.) They did seem to offer some minimal relief...maybe.
One trick that worked for a friend of mine: she kept those little pre-moistened alcohol swabs handy and when the nausea kicked in badly she opened one up and took a whiff. Sounds odd, I know, but it did work for her (a nurse taught her to do that when she was undergoing chemotherapty and experiencing extreme nausea). I was never comfortable inhaling the smell of the alcohol when pregnant, I didn't trust in its safety, but an alternative can be found in essential oils, specifically peppermint or spearmint.
And, if the nausea is severe there are pharmaceutical options out there that your OB can prescribe. Generally that's going to be reserved for cases in which you're really unable to hold anything down for a while, and hopefully it won't come to that.
Hopefully you won't experience the morning sickness (or all day sickness, as the case may be) for much longer. Good luck!

I am 13 weeks pregnant and I am still sick, I tried everything, saltines ect.... i then was put on Phenagren (sorry cant spell) that helped for like a week, but one of the best things I found is to take 150 mg of zantac right when you get up in the morning on an empty stomach. It reduces the acid which can make you nauseated. Good Luck!

Here are tips to help relieve your symptoms:
Eat frequent small meals every 2 or 3 hours.
Avoid strong odours.
Stand up slowly and do not lie down immediately after eating.
Eat dry crackers 15 minutes before getting out of bed in the morning.Do not skip meals needlessly.
Drink fluids ½ hour before a meal or ½ hour after a meal. Avoid drinking during your meal.
morning sickness may worsen when you get overtired. Try to increase resting periods and take more naps during the day.
Drink about 8 glasses of liquid during the day to avoid dehydration.
Do not hesitate to eat what you want when you want it, even if you are craving foods that are not part of your regular diet.
Try eating cold food rather than hot food (cold food have less odour).
Hope these all would be helpful to U.

Buy some Sea Bands. They work great. They look like workout wrist bands from the 80's but they are awesome. They are used for sea sickness but it helped me with the morning sickness. You can find them at drug stores.
