Do a kick count, drink or eat something sugary and lay on your left side, you should feel at least 10 movements in two hours, if you don't then contact your doctor just to double check. At that stage the baby is probably moving around more at night, during the day you're more active so the baby sleeps, at night when you rest you are more relaxed and he/she wakes up and you're also more attentive to movements at night. Do the kick count and try to relax, some babies are over active and some are naturally kind of lazy :)

I am 24 weeks pregnant with my second child and at the doctors office they said that after week 26 you should feel one movement per hour with more during the baby's waking periods. I think this is a pretty standard belief among doctors, midwifes, expectant mothers, etc. I wouldn't worry too much though if the doctor doesn't think anything seems to be wrong and you feel ok. I often didn't feel my first son move for long periods of time. I think you should only really worry if you notice other changes in the way you feel.

I know it gets a little scarey when they say to start watching the movement of your baby. But what they also don't tell you in that there is a certain point when the baby starts getting into sleeping patterns. If you have ever had a newborn or been around one, you will know that they will get into a pattern of not sleep(:)) but then all of the sudden they will want to sleep for 4 or 5 hours. As a mother that's kinda scarey too because you start thinking if the baby is okay and check on him/her every 5 min.Anyways my answer is it is okay to not feel movement even for a day. They will sleep alot at some points. But if it goes on for 2 or 3 days with no movement then I would contact your doctor.Hope it helped.

at 29 weeks the baby starts to get out of room to kick, but even though you should feel her around 10 times every 2 hours 8at this point) . Try frinking a soda and lie on your left side...and see if she moves and count the kicks.....you should call your dr anyway. I'm pg with my 1st (33 wks) and at 29 wks I noticed a decrease in movement...my dr told me to do this and I counted more than 10 kicks in 2 hours. She said that if she didn't move at all to call her. But baby was fine. Good luck honey.

You should feel some kind of movement at LEAST once an hour. If it has been a while since the last movement try sitting still and drinking a little OJ or something with a high suger content. That will usually start them moving all over. If you do not feel movement you need to call your Dr.

At 29 weeks she is starting to run out of room, but you should still be able to feel her move about 5-10 times an hour. Most of the time you probably just aren't noticing the movement because you are busy doing something yourself, or you may be rocking her to sleep. Drink some juice or tea and lay back on the couch. If you don't feel movement after awhile, try pushing on one side of your stomach to get her to wake up! I'm sure you're just fine, and good luck!

Some babies don't move much in the womb and others move constantly. My oldest daughter did what yours is doing. She moved around a lot and then for a day or so she hardly moved at all. When I mentioned it to my doctor they had me go into fetal assessment. Talk to your ob about it. I was told that when you notice a decrease in fetal activity you should tell your doctor at once. That can be a sign that something is wrong. Probably your baby just took a rest for a day to grow or something but better safe than sorry. Good Luck!

at this point her kicking should slow down a little due to having less room.but you should still feel her move everyday.if it seems like its been a long time since you felt her try lying down after eating a snack or drinking a glass of orange juice.then if you still dont feel her call your doc just to be on the safe side.i always say that its better to be paranoid when your pregnant than to be sorry!!im 31 weeks and my baby still moves a couple of times an hour every hour!!all babys are different though.

sometimes babies limit their movement depending on time of day and if they're positioning themselves to be born. i would count the number of times the baby kicked today and call my ob/gyn you don't feel comfortable with the movement of your baby.
