well.what i think the culture consists of is...People, language and the land...now if this is the main constituent of culture then for it to get worse one or more things have to degenerate..
People..well they are definitely becoming more informed about the world and all old and new things that are prevalent in various part of the countries...and if they want to try out something than it's their choice...I don't think westernization means degeneration of values and culture..but that is a separate topic.
language...again more number of people are getting to know other ( mainly english) languages ...it can only be a problem when our own language is suffering due to this..and tes there are some indian languages that are facing these problems
Land.....although it is very important factor in defining culture..and it's not just a mass of land which makes a nation.. ..and i think we are losing our identity as a nation.... people should take more pride in being Indian ...

Why nowadays....over one thousand years we were under the foreign rule as we lost our ethos..due to our disunity. You seem no one entered India to defeat us and rule bus, but only for trade or some theft. But after witnessing our disunity, degredation of values, they convinced they can rule us.
Our national leaders like Nehru, who were more western in nature, after independence made us to lost our emotional attachment with our ethos...so the devaluation of values started. It is now widespread in all aspects. The Indian constitution is self is not Indian.
Like wise, we failed to evolve our only economy, social systems, human relations, educational system..we could not have our real history, but interepted by weserners or leftists..

Indian culture is getting really worse now.. because before it was all about respect for elders and now boys are loosing their respect and girls are loosing their clothes

I BELIEVE IT ISNT IMPROVING...I DONT BELIEVE IT WOULD BE WORSE FOR THE TIME WE LIVE IN.....THERE ARE COUNTLESS FACTORS THAT COME INTO PLAY HERE SUCH AS THE SUBJUGATION OF WOMEN WHICH I CONCERN MYSELF WITH FIRST!!!!
FIRST MALE CHAUVANISTS NEED TO BRING THEIR RAGING EGOS DOWN!!!!!! THEN OUR CULTURE WILL IMPROVE OF ITS OWN ACCORD...AND ITS NOT THE WEST WHERE THE IMMORALITY COMES FROM...ITS OUR ATTEMPT TO BE WHO WE ARENT WHILE MAINTAINING OUR HIPOCRYCY...DONT BLAME THE WEST FOR WHAT A CULTURE YOU RUINED..AMERICA DIDNT BANG ON UR DOOR AND FORCE ITS CORRUPTION ON U..THERE IS CURRUPTION IN EVERY COUNTRY SO WHY SINGLE AMERICA OUT?? Knowing that all that glitters is not gold,we are trying to adopt western culture.Here in America Desi children are worst than their local counterparts.They think that drugs and sex will make them more popular and their local friends will think them very cool.
