Air is not only the process of warm air and cold air changing places, it's also a matter of "matter." Air has weight and mass. The process by which air begins to move is when molecules in the air begin bouncing against each other, creating a chain reaction that makes further and further ripples in the air similar to water. That is what makes wind.

Wind is air that is constantly moving. Wind never stops....it is continuous, whether you feel it or not. It is obvious when it is "windy" because not only can you feel it, but if you aren't blind (and I am not being sarcastic, but serious) you can "see" it move by the swaying of trees, grass flowers, ect. Does this help you?
