Due to the fact that I am cell phone only user( no landline ), I am looking for the handset that Nokia discontinued so that I can buy one at the best price.

Well, it's going to be hard to find one for a great price, brand new without signing a contract, but like you say the phone is discontinued so most carriers have depleted their stock of phones. Also, many places who used to carry this phone as a refurb are also now forever out of stock. You can still get one new, but it is without a contract so the price is not subsidized. It is still very well discounted from the original retail price. These are just things you should keep in mind about why the phone is going to cost you about $200.
