You really shouldn't exfoliate your legs before you shave them, unless you are either very dry and scaly, or are using an electric shaver. If you are using a blade razor, the blade will provide you with plenty of exfoliation.

When you shave your legs YOU ARE exfoliating them. Along with the hairs you are scraping off a few layers of skin cells.

I have found that St. Ives Apricot Scrub gives me the smoothest shaving results; it received the Allure Magazine Reader's Choice Award as the most effective and gentlest skin exfoliator. And it is only about $3.00 at almost any drugstore. =^..^=

I would think I would and then exfoliate about two or three days later or maybe two or three days before shaving is a sensitive process

No, it won't help. What you should do is only shave downwards, in the direction the hairs grow. Shaving against the grain will cause the itchy bumps. And don't use shaving cream or soap, use lotion on wet legs, it lubricates and moisturizes, but the best tip is to only shave downwards.

most definitely do it BEFORE you shave
most exfoliation scrubs have salts in them and they
will irritate your skin
If you check out Target or Bath and Body works, they
have some great scrubs for your legs, Also AVON
is wonderful-they have an entire line of foot and leg
products, they are cheap and they work really well
hope this helps

I make a pasty mix of sugar and olive oil together and it makes your skin EXTRA smooth. I do it before shaving so afterward, my legs feel like silk! Try it!
