Just curious of those who know the song, I never had the courage to.

I called the number when the Tommy Tu-Tone song first came out. A very nasty old man answered the phone. I asked for "Jenny". The old man responded by spewing obscenities at me (and I don't mean just the "4 letter word"). Apparently he had gotten this type of call before. My friends who dared me to call in the first place were standing nearby the phone and heard the nasty man on the other end. He was very loud. My friends just laughed. I laughed too..... and learned some new words in the process!

yes..a long time ago when that song was a hit by "Tommy Two-Tone" in 1983! The phone companies had to remove it from service.

Yes, when I was a kid. It was out of service. I was very disappointed because I wanted to talk to Jenny.

Yes, I live in South Dakota, so used the area code (605). I can't remember the guy's name, but he lives on the reservation. Nice guy, too.

oh geez, back in the 80's people with that number all over the world had to change it. there was a huge uproar back then about it. In this day and age I'm sure it still happens, but good luck, it all depends on if that prefix is in your area code to begin with! ;)

No. I'd be too afraid. If the number was in use the person who has it probably lost their sense of humour when it comes to "wrong numbers"
