homozygous is when the organism has 2 of the same alleles and thus only one thing can result in it.. heterozygous is when there are 2 different alleles.. that is when you gotta look through and figure out what the offspring will look like...

**** means" same" zygous mean " individual".
tats mean either all alleles for a specific trait are either dominant or recesive in homogzygous.
