Because when a guy (gay or strait) does THAT MUCH dancing he should be a little more feminine. Patrick Swayze could dance, dance, dance but STILL came off as being strait. And well, us guys just want our male dancers to be a little more gay...lol The fact that Patrick can be SO MACHO while doing something 'considered' unmanley just scared the hell out of me! LOL! Of course, he made a great drag-queen in that movie with Wesley Snipes though which DOES show how good an actor he really is. But, Patrick, John Travolta, and even Kevin Bacon in Footloose all kept their 'manhood' intact while dancing. I lost my point here somewhere...lol ;-)

i don't know but i really love that movie Patrick Swazi in that movie is like so hot and dirty dancing in Havana nights is also really great and if you don't like that movie there is something wrong with you

I think everyone likes it, some may not want to admit it.....it has some of the most used catch phrases too.

it is my fav movie of all time.. no idea why someone would HATE it.... but i suppose everyone has different taste!!! there are plenty of movies that i dislike while otehrs may love it....
