I am taking a US History class and we have a final in the coming week. I am looking for a "summary/outline" of US History that links major events and explains them very briefly. Anything will help..

Thank You

Hey friend!
I don't think you will have an easy time of finding and outline complete with a summary/explanation of all of the events. This is a tough undertaking for a person, considering US History can go back past the 1600s! But here is what I suggest you do: find a website that has a good outline of the events. I'll give you a link at the bottom to the CollegeBoard website's US History AP guide. There is an outline there that gives a very thorough glance at the chain of events in US History, plus the important aspects of those events. Once you have this outline and have looked at it, do brief internet searches or look in an encyclopedia and fill in any information you might be unfamiliar with. This will take some time, but I bet you'll find that you know more than you thought!

As a history major, I know that learning history isn't always easy, and that it can take some time and effort. But I think this is going to be the best thing for you to do.

I hope this is helpful!

It all depends on how far you have to go back and how much detail you need. How about re-posting with what you have so far and let people fill in some blanks?
