I've tried to disable "Enable driver level protection" in Sygate and install klimsetup.exe (as instructed in Kaspersky forum) with no success, still have no connection (can't browse web, etc..). Things go well when i uninstall either of them.

Does anyone have any suggestion? I love both of them.

btw by Kaspersky i mean its antivirus software :).
I've been using SygatePF too long and don't wanna switch to another - i'd rather get another anti-virus. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

~ Unfortunately, software incompatibility is a common problem.

But fortunately there are other good free firewall options for you to try so that your computer isn't left unprotected due to this.

Zone Alarm still offers a free version for home use.

Kerio offers one:

So does Outpost :

EDIT:

I was under the impression that you had the paid version of Kaspersky.

There are two, excellent options for you, regarding free anti-virus protection.

Avast: (The one I use.)

AVG: (Also good reviews)

First all all "Sygate", has long been out of business. I would remove this firewall, as you will not get any updates or support.

Plus I would remove Kaspersky if it is the purchased version, as you can install the very say Kaspersky antivirus from Russia from AOL, free for life.

Here is the link for AOL, to download the free Kaspersky that updates every hour on the hour and has a real time scanner running in the background and on shutdown and bootup.

Here is an excellent free firewall for home personal use by ZoneAlarm. (I use both programs in my computers and there is no conflict at all).
