This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I think being unexplained is the worst of all.
It took me eight years and two husbands to finally get my baby. My tubes were blocked - that was my diagnosis.
So you've had the FULL workup? The HSG (to check if tubes are open)? Bloodwork (to see if you are ovulating)? Your DH has had the semenalysis done? Count's good? Morphology good?
Have you tried anything like IUIs? (Intra-uterine insemination)
Here is my recommendation. Have you gone to just your OB/GYN? Run, don't walk, to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. They are doctors who specialize in getting you pregnant.
Have you considered IVF? A friend of mine and her husband tried for five years with no luck. They decided to give IVF a go, and on round one that's where they found that his sperm could not penetrate her eggs. So on the next round, they actually injected (ICSI) the sperm into the eggs. They had embryos! She transferred two, and was pregnant with twins. :-)
So IVF could not only help you get pregnant, but could come up with a diagnosis as well.
Good luck! I've been there, and I know how it feels....
Edited to add: Please don't listen to those who say, "Just relax" or "get drunk" or "just adopt." They have never been in our shoes. When someone with three kids asked me once, "Why don't you just adopt? There are so many needy kids in the world." I answered, "Why didn't you? Instead you had to bring three more mouths to feed into the world. Shut her up REAL fast...

There IS something wrong. Go to a different doctor. Check for scar tissue. Have you had a lot of yeast infections? That can leave scar tissue. Are you too thin or very overweight? Do you take any dietary supplements or medications regularly?
Click on the link below and ask a doctor!

What you really need to do is relax and i know from friends who also have the same problem how hard it is and how its easier said then done.
But please you need to relax your both putting yourself under stress which will not help one bit. just think of it like it will happen when the time is right.
start to enjoy sex dont just see it as a way to make babys maybe play around a bit i know that you know what im talking about.
just too much stress.
if your man feels under pressure he will not find it as easy.
so try some toys and please dont lay afterwards with your legs in the air just lie there and relax tell him to make you your favourite warm drink and lie there .
when i was trying to concieve my second i did that also after sex i would listen to a yoga album in which i would let go of all expectations. good luck as i know this is a really horrible thing for any woman to go through xx

Get your body ready...Start taking prenatal vitamins do some research on different kinds of food you can eat to boost your fertility. don't let your man in the hot tub research proves most men can't produce sperm for up to eight months after being in a hot tub and there are vitamins I got from the health dept I can't remember what they are called but they are tiny and red

Stop "trying" statics show when people aren't trying they are most likely to have one. Throw all the diary's and tests out. Hold off on sex for 3 weeks, then on the 4th week have recreational sex( not procreational like you have been having) enjoy it, take the stress out of it. The more you have sex, the less semen he will ejaculate. The more stressed the two of you are, the less likely it will happen.
