Do what you like. It's your birthday and your special time. Tell them in advance so that they are aware for the situation. tell them there is no pressure for them to drink, but you would like to have a few drinks because it's you b'day. Enjoy the meal and then head to the pub. find a pub that has a pool table and stuff so that your mates dont get bored watching you drink and have a good time.. Sorted.

you do realise pubs sell coke dont you? Why would your mates get bored if you are drinking or do you turn into some moronic plonker after a couple of sherberts? Its your 18th course you gotta get smashed but they can have a good time without drinking

Do you have a particular Pub in mind if not why not chose one that has pool tables, darts and that sort of stuff, there used to be one close to me that had a whole bunch of video games, but remember it is your birthday, try not to get too slaughtered, ha.

have you asked them to go to the pub just because they dont drink they still might like to come there are plenty of people who drink soft drinks. Ask you might find they want to enjoy your birthday as much as you.
