Probably not the USA. However, I have no doubt if the current Iranian leadership thought they could get away with nuking Israel, they'd do it without question.

Yes, because we are their enemy, and they have said so. If somebody threatens to kill you, you would probably take them seriously.
The really scary thing is that we probably be able to retaliate when they do it. Once they have a nuke, they just give it to Al-Queada. Then it gets on a container ship, into the port of New York, and bye-bye Big Apple. They aren't stupid enough to launch a missile at us that we can prove it was them.
Another scary thing is that it WILL happen, it is only a matter of time. Since we are bogged down in Iraq, we can't do anything about Iran. If you want to see New York before it is nuked, I suggest you do it soon. At most, I give it 10 years, most likely it will be much sooner than that.
I wonder if the liberals will support war after New York is a nuclear wasteland, and our economy has collapsed to 3rd world status? Probably not.

The nut that is Iran's President has stated very loudly and very publicly, that he believes he is tasked by his GOD to be the one to bring about the Apocalypse and bring forth the hidden Imam. This will start with the total destruction of Israel.

And before you ponder the idea that they will not use this method because they will die, think of this. The radical Islamic has no fear of death. The concept of mutually assured destruction means nothing to them. They welcome eagerly the chance to die in this Jihad( work, mission), they are giddy with anticipation at the thought of dying and receiving the 72 virgins promised to them.
If for no other reason than this, we have to do what it takes to not fail in what we are doing in Iraq, no matter if we should have started this or not. To fail now will be like giving Iran a pass to follow their crazy path in their prophecy.

It kinda looks that way but just like 9/11 they gave US warnings and were ignored. This time they have given US multiple recent warnings and pres of Iran sent pres Bush a letter which might be the last step in their proceedure to attack. US is in their way of advancing to Israel and when they showed their plan on charts US was going down first. What are we busy doing putting down each other.

the Iranian leader is nutz.. but he knows he can't outright nuke us because he next day his nation would be a glass parking lot.. so he would have to leak the nukes out to terrorist groups and hope we couldn't track it (by the way, uranium and plutonium are very easily track-able back to the reactor they were made in)

the regime that is there now would love to just start the Apocalypse so they can go to heaven and get there dam virgins etc. it's not about power to them it's about bring on their prophesy . they could care less about destroying the USA

They will start with Israel and slowly work their way through the middle east, then Europe, then the U.S. But that will cause WW3. We would not allow them to harm our allies.
They will do this in the guise of religion. To cleanse the infidels.

The plan of Iran is to take control of the western countries and they will use the atomic bomb to scare us and if we don't get scare,, use it. Don't underestimate the Muslims,,, they all hate us..
