Because if enough of our boys die, they can proudly stand up and say "See, this is why I hate Bush (I finally have a reason) and now I can yell I told you so in everyone's faces". They don't care about American lives or winning the war, no, not one bit. Just being more self righteous

In all seriousness, though, we don't support these "Savages" (sic). However, they wouldn't be killing so many Americans if it wasn't for this disastrous war that was based on a lie that Bush dragged us into. By the way, where the hell is Osama bin Laden? It's been 5 YEARS since the 9/11 attacks, and he STILL hasn't been caught!

Tell you what: post ONE -- just one -- actual reference, quote, whatever where a liberal has EVER said he supports terrorists, and I'll back down. Just one. Go ahead -- try to find one.

This is the kind of idiotic rhetoric that makes working together in this country nearly impossible. Intelligent people understand that differences of opinion on policy don't mean people are enemies or exact opposites. Only closed-minded and idiotic people use the kind of phrases that Bush and many of his supporters have used way too often: "If you're not 100% with us, you're our enemy." That's patently ridiculous, but I guess you have to be able to use your brain to understand that...

How are they savages (I assume you're talking about the war in iraq). Americans came in, dismantled their government, sent their country spiraling out of control, destroyed most of their buildings and infrastructure, destroyed the most basic elements of life (according to Time magazine, it's almost impossible to even get your teeth fixed in Bagdhad because almost all of the dentists have left the country), enticed outside forces to come into their country and take over just so they can fight American troops, all for a stupid president who had no plan and basically destroyed a country for no reason. As bad as Saddam was, as least they could walk to the freakin grocery store without getting blown up.
But to you THEY'RE the savages... if you hate them so much, why aren't you over there defending American lives?

Why do people like you support Americans dieing in a lie and deceitful war why dont you look at the facts where are the weapons ? Is Iraq any more peacfull ? Is the threat of terrisom any less ? so why are there still boys there dieing in a war people like you feel we should be in

Bush sent America to war and continues to allow our troops to remain in Iraq as they die in the hundreds. what do liberals have to do with this decision? they didn't vote for Bush to begin with or his agenda, nor would they vote to continue the war at this point. we should be spending resources on our own homeland security and enforcing our economy than occupying a country that is clearly trying to send us a message!
