logx(x-2)base 3=1
x(x-2)=3
x^2-2x-3=0
(x-3)(x+1)=0
x=3 or -1

log3 x + log3 (x-2) = 1
log3 x(x-2) = 1
x(x-2) = 3^1
x² - 2x = 3
x² - 2x - 3 = 0
(x - 3)(x + 1) = 0
x = 3 or x = -1

BUT.... x=-1 doesn't work in the original equation, so it's only x=3.

if the base is 3 then
