Can you still get a good tan in Arizona this time of the year?

I am going down there in a couple of weeks and was wondering If I could still get a good tan. I will be down there about january 1st.

today is 70 degrees, by january the temperature goes down to the 60's try hiking camelback mountain, echo canyon in phoenix or south mountain the trails are nice. mornings in january are brutal 40's or 50's but by noon it's nice. good luck
