Yes, if you have a web counter. Go to www.ritecounter.com and sign up. After you've gone throught the email stuff click "Add Site"

Add your website and choose your counter. Add the html code to your site. After you have it on your site you can check ritecounter.com and check your stats to see who hass been on your site.

Yes you can. You just need to add a small visitor tracker type tool (easily found by google) and it can record there IP address and some basic information about the person and there computer when they visit your site.

Depends what you mean by 'who'. Of course you can't tell John smith from london visited (unless he gave you these details name) You can see visitors IP but this doesnt idenify a person personally.

Yes. Most hosting companies keep logs of all visitors. Statistical information can vary based on what software they are using.

You should be able to learn about their computer, settings, where they are coming from, referrering locations, etc.

You can write a simple Java class to count the number of users and You can write code to track the users visiting the site too.

There are softwares available to do the tasks for you as well...
