That debate will continue for years, but it's becoming more mainstream with each passing year, despite what the religious right desire.

I think we have to be careful how we judge this question. I personally think that both polyandry and polygamy are things to be avoided, but I think there are situations in which they are warranted.
1. In some male dominated societies, it is not frowned upon for the male to have multiple wives. If one were to live in such a society they would view polygamy as right (assuming they stuck to the ideals of their society).
2. Bad relationships. Sometimes it happens that people get stuck in bad relationships and cannot get out. Perhaps they have children and have made the decision to remain together until the children have grown. While this situation is already terrible, I think it might be okay for each of the two people involved to seek extra-marital relations. I decided to put this example because I do know some people who have chosen to do this. Again, I would have to say that it is not something I think is the best idea in the world.
Hope this helps!

Not really, as it is not culturally acceptable....there will be a great bit of jealousy among the women the guy has, not to mention the expense of supporting each one individually....I really don't know what the Mormon's original deal with this is, unless it's for sexual pleasure, or some kind of a social status. Back in the Bible days, a daughter or maid is often exchanged between the men as a consummation of a deal, whether it be a peace treaty among tribes, or a political pact. Sometimes it's even in exchange for property or rights to use another property as one's own. Sex really never had anything to do with this back then.

If the people involved are willing to put the work into it that it will require (think a marriage with 2 is hard?!) then I don't see a problem with it. I support the poly lifestyle, even though I am not part of it. Now if the poly lifestyle is just being used to subjugate and abuse then it is wrong. But if it is a marriage of equals then it could be very beneficial for all involved.
A word of warning: This lifestyle is not for the majority of people. This lifestyle requires great trust and no or almost no jealousy.

If you are okay with it that is your right. It's not my place to judge you that will happen later by someone a lot more important than me or any other person for that matter.

It never was dude. Even in the Bible it wasn't blessed- so don't try and use the Book to back it up either. Stupid mormons.
