Bass guitar sheet music is written in Bass Clef and Guitar is written in Treble Clef. So, while a "C" is a "C", it is written on different lines depending on the Clef that you are in.

If you are playing an Improvisation (made-up line that follows the chords), you can simply just chart the music so that you see which chords the guitar is playing for each measure. As a general rule, you don't want to linger too long on the 4rth or the 7th note of the chord as it will sound dissonate (kinda bad). Unless the music is actually "designed" to sound creepy weird.

As mentioned, the safe notes are 1, 3, and 5.

Bass chords can be played, but generally they can be "muddy" sounding and usually the only way to have them sound clear is by playing them high in the registry, or using only two notes out of the chord (like 1 and 5).

If you need help with the sheet music, or learning more about the scales, feel free to write me via my profile.

Thanks!

well it would sound best to play the root 3rd and 5th of the chord the guitar is playing, for instance:

if the guitar is playing a c major chord,

root = C
3rd = E
5th = G

so u could make a bassline based around those three notes in a C chord, but also use any other notes that fit in with the key of C

as long as you know what notes are in what key u shouldnt have much trouble, but even if you dont you can find that stuff out on the internet

i hope this helped

There isn't a way of converting sheet music into tabs. Only way to really make tabs is if you know how to play the song, or read music. Unfortunately, you said you don't know either. I suggest trying to learn by ear on guitar, that's what I always do.

Bass guitar is the same as guitar, just an octave lower. You will have no problem if you just read the same chords.

try searching for it online, maybe on google, try searching for guitar or bass tabs, they're easier to learn and read
