Name one way mitosis and meiosis are alike and one way they are different.

This should be posted in biology, not social science. In meiosis, 4 cells are created, each one with one allele of a gene. In mitosis, 2 cells are created(1 cell splits in two) and they each have both genes alleles. It's been a long time since biology though. I will take bio in college next year.
