Vlad,
It sound like you know the location of the virus... but you are having trouble removing it through normal means...
No fear.
-Find location of the virus or program you need to get rid of...
-If you can not remove by normal deletion proceed to write down location of file on a piece of paper. Example: C:\Program Files\TryMedia\ActiveMark\licenses\Trojan.dll
-Turn off computer and restart in safemode...
WINDOWS XP: To start the computer in safe mode press F8 and the begining of start up.
OTHER WINDOW PROGRAMS: Select safemode.
-Everything in Safe Mode is odd and stranged sized, ignore this.
Enter through the My Computer icon, and follow the address you written down earlier.
-Right click and delete that problem file... you can do it in safe mode.
-Restart normally...
If you need a better walkthrough or have question, please feel free to email me...

What kind of Virus Program do you have and is it up to date? If so first run a full system scan and see if it will remove it. You may be better off to boot up in safe mode to do this. If that doesn't clear it, go to your Virus Programs web site and they should have instructions on how to remove it.

Use the latest antiviruses like Norton antivirus 2007 etc. If they cannot clean the file, try to quarantine the file. But quarantine is isn't fully safe, so try to delete the file through the antivirus. If it does'nt work in Win XP turn off system restore. If it still doesn't work try to delete the file manually. If it still does'nt work contact Symantec.
