You can do a number of things, all of which have been proven to work.

First, swing a weighted bat 25-30 times a day. Dont just swing it around. Actually take your swing. Thats why swinging two or three bats at a time doesn't help. It may increase your overall strength but it wont increase the strength of the exact muscles and tendons used during your swing. So line up, pretend a pitch is coming, and take a ferocious but mechanically perfect swing.

Along with this, when you are taking batting practice, use a wooden bat. These days a good wood can go fro $40-60. If you take, for example, 8 rounds of 20 swings a day, take half of them with a wood bat. Or all of them if you want, but make sure if you still play in a metal bat league that you take swings with metal because your timing will get messed up if you only swing wood.

Thirdly, work out your forearms. Read the newspaper every day (this will be good and make your parents happy) then crush each individual page into a ball with your hand. Do this for both arms. There are a number of forearm exercises.

Lastly, improve your core!!! This could be the most important, although all of these are important. Core strength is the most ignored but most important aspect of baseball. Bat speed is generated yes by the arms, but also the torque of your midsection coming through the zone. Build up your core muscles (if you dont know what the core is, it is your abs, lower back, and hips- you can look up exercises for this area) to help increase the speed and power that your bat comes through the zone with.

While this answer might be long it actually shouldn't be that much each day. I understand if you can't take BP each day, but you can do the other three things in an hour or less.

Do some kind of exercise with your forearms and wrists. A lot of your bat speed comes from them. Your power would come from your lower body such as waist, hips, and legs.

I've heard of players who swing a leaded bat under water to improve their swing. Don't know if it works or not, though.

Use a medicine ball. swing back a forth with your arms stretched out. Be careful not to swing to hard because it could injure your back. Also work on your forearms and your footwork (weight transfer).
