I made out with my college teacher from last semester several times. I really liked him, which I am sure he knew. At first I thought he liked me too, but the more I saw him, the more I started to doubt it. I was always too scared to tell him how I felt or ask him because I knew we could never be in a relationship(long story). we usually run into each other at school & last night was supposed to be our last time seeing each other. He told me he would defenitly meet me and said he wouldn't leave without seeing me. I get out of class and go to see him, and he's gone. Stood me up! I am so upset, especially since he knows it was our last chance to spend time together! There is a small chance I could see him Monday, but I don't know if he'll be there or not. I would really like to know why he did this and blow some steam about how he hurt me. Should I tell him how I feel or let it go?

Don't have a phone number... Only way to contact him would be his work e-mail that he gave in class (he's a high school teacher) or just hope I run into him on Monday. What to do? E-mail at work would be really innappropriate, right?

Sorry - he's already lining up the next one. There are a number of professors who do this as a hobby. It's terribly wrong but the sex is supposed to be great (I am a university prof but have never been with a student sexually - I think it's out of bounds completely).
The normal pattern with these guys (and women) is they tell the student their schedule is *ever* so busy - the latest research project or publishing deadline is upon them.
Then as the semester comes to a close, they basically dump them and vanish. If the student does all again, they claim busy schedule as they said earlier and will "get back to you real soon." This is repeated until the student finally gets the idea.
Your feelings being torn is *exactly* why I don't "date" students. It is so unfair to you.
Most universities do have an ethics contract section stating no fraternization with students. You can give him grief if you want. IF he is an 'adjunct' (part time) teacher, they can at least not renew his assignments. Your choice as long as you don't mind the whole thing becoming public knowledge. And I think most profs count on you not wanting it to be common knowledge you're screwing the teacher. But it is your call. Do what you feel is best, but he's done using you.

I would let it go. It hurts now, but you'll move on and find something else. He is probably one of those guys that does this line of work to meet younger women. Just feel blessed you didn't fall victim to his charms any deeper. Email would be innappropriate, as there is likely a webmaster that could monitor that, on the other hand, might be a fun way to get back at him... Write a letter telling him how hurt you that he stood you up and even more so that he used his authoritative position to seduce you... See if the administators don't let him go... LOL

First of all. Something is not right with your story. Why, can't you only communicate with him via email. Does he have another woman. Second, you know you are not suppose to mess with your professors that is serious violation. Last, before you tell him how upset you were he did not come to see you. Wait to see if he tells you why he did not meet you first. You never know, something may have come up or maybe he would be too hurt to say goodbye to you. If you are apprehensive about him then let him go.

Teacher or not, he's a man who has had no real interest in making anything permanent with you, didn't even have the decency to give you his phone number. He obviously just wanted to be physical with you and now he's done. Last night was supposed to be the last time, he didn't show up, so let it go, he's telling you he's done. I hope that you can get more respect for yourself and not let another man use you like this, he just played with you and tossed you aside, you deserve better.

Just forget about him. He could be fired for a sexual relationship with a student so your relationship was doomed from the start. Chalk it up to yet another learning experience you've had in college and move on.

Just forget it, teachers & students aren't suppose to fool around together in the first place, I'm sure he knows that so just move on.

Nope, let it go. You got used, sweetie, as in a toy. Bind up your wounds, and get on with your life... the guy is a lie.

If he hurts you again, I would tell the school that he took advantage of you and have him fired.
