It's all about optimism. If you have it set in your mind that things are going to be fun or great they normally will be as for if you have it set in your mind things are horrible.
I also think fault has to do with it. I feel I'm happy because I'm honest with myself. If it's my fault, I'll admit it. If I'm in the wrong I'll admit it. It's far easier to put blame on others but it makes me happier to be the bigger person.
Yes, I'm an optimistic person which makes me a happy person. There are times when I'm pessimistic although I try not to be it happens sometimes. Those are the only times when I'm unhappy.

Happiness is not the aim of life but the way of life.It exists but it must be accepted to be enjoyed. I am Happy because I chose to be.

Happiness really exists but we do not always realize it at the moment. I think that joy is a hard thing at some times in our lives to find but keep your eyes on Jesus. I really think that our spirits are down cause we do not allow it to be close to what our spirit lives for. Jesus says:
Matthew 11:28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Happiness really does exist but we also have serious moments too. Emerge yourself in some comedy and then you'll have your answer.
