When I was a young child I had a severe case of warts. I know that it sounds gross but its the truth. The things were all over my knees, elbows, fingers, everywhere! I remember going to doctors who would try to burn them off and try medicines that did little or no good. The warts always came back. My mother grew up in the mountains of North-central Arkansas and had know of an old lady (a good-witch of sorts) that was rumored to handle problems like this. I remember my dad teasing me about going to see a wicked witch. When we arrived at her home, I was pleasantly surprised! She was a beautiful old lady with a comfy country home. She and I went into a room by ourselves and I remember her rubbing oil on the warts and saying some phrase that I couldn't understand. She lit a couple of candles and chanted some other things. When it was over she told me that the first day that I woke up and didn't "worry or think" about the warts that they would be gone. Sure enough, about three days later I had just gotten out of the shower and was drying off and noticed that the warts were ALL gone. So yes, there are witches but they aren't all bad.

i am not a witch .. but i do know the exist not the type you see on television .. they's witches of today are just more in tune with the elements and the nature around us.. i am not sure if they can really do magic but then again the only witches i ever knew were the wanna be so they could do harm to people and i don't think there about that
