The electoral college has its own set of problems. The general public is not as informed as it should be. Some people just vote for a political party. In my opinion, our system has the problems it has because it is only two parties. A two-party system forces people to choose the lesser of two evils, which is what a lot of voters do. In my opinion, you should not vote unless you know what you are voting for, or voting against as the case may be.

The electoral college is outdated and should be done away with. The true problem with our democracy is the ability to run a fair election, with election devices that count all votes and can not be manipulated by the Karl Roves of the world. This county sends advisors all over the world to "monitor" elections, we need some outside monitors at "our" next election!
