Dime magazine was right to give that nickname, the guy's a beast! Two straight 20+ point 20+ rebound games? Damn.
Who else can do that nowadays?

I believe dwight deserves a nick name but " the centaur" what the hell is that? dwight is the only reason any eastern conferance team is in the top 5 this year.. the orlando magic have the best record in the east and dwight averages 20 points and he leads the leauge in rebounds with 13 a game... don't forget the magic still have grant hill, jameer nelson , darko milicic and oh yea, don't let me forget, the most prolific scorer in college over the last 4 years J.J. REDDICK in a year a two, watch for this team to reach the finals once agian

YES, HE IS A MONSTER. HOWEVER HE DID LET THOSE EUROPEANS PUNK HIM AND KICK HIS BUTT. HE CAN FIT THAT DESCRIPTION ONLY FOR A YEAR SO FAR. THIS SEASON HOWARD IS AVG 17 PPG AND 18 RPG.
WILT AVG 30 PPG AND 23 RPG FOR HIS CAREER.

i agree with smitty
there are other great men who did what he is doing. and mind you he is playing in the east. do you honestly think his numbers would be that great playing in the west with men like duncan, or sac(where ron artest would shut him down) ming, or boozer, brand, amare, kg. hell darko averages more blocks on his team then howard.
im not hating on howard, its just ppl give him way to much respect. at the end of the season the magic will be 4 or 5th in their conference
