it is a cramping feeling sharp like a needle, any ideas what this could be??

sounds to me like a urinary tract infection drink lots of water and or cranberry juice [100%] not coctail if it doesn't go away after a couple days see your doctor every one gets them they are not fun .usually lasts a few days stay away from soda and caffienated drinks.

Absolutely nobody in Q & A could possibly diagnose you through the internet. You will have to see a doctor, talk to him about your general health history and he would have to examine you. He might even find it necessary to order a test before making a diagnosis. None of this is possible here.

Yahoo is probably not nearly as useful for answers on this kind of question as, say, a doctor. I'd try one of those. Probably before your apendix burst

Infection. See a doc. Free clinic if you can't afford a doc. Call public health dept for advice if you can't afford a doc.
