i think it might be harder for bush to make decisions and to order congress around.

That's the whole idea. The congress is not supposed to serve the president. The president and the congress are co-equal branches of government, along with the supreme court.

For starters, the President can't order Congress around. They're going to do what they want to do, and the only thing the President can do about it is veto any proposed legislation he doesn't like. Secondly, the newly-elected Democratic senators and representatives haven't taken office yet, so your question can't be answered yet. Finally, the controlling party in Congress has very little to do with decisions made by the President -- unless he's required by law to have the approval of Congress before taking a certain course of action.

Congres is independent of Bush...he needs to accept the will of the people as much as anyone....it's just hard for him to follow the rules

Well, Nancy Pelosi took the impeachment off the table. We are still occupying Iraq. Bush will not consider leaving Iraq. We still have to see, what's going to happen next. I don't trust Pelosi. She is not holding the end of her bargain.

it will be very hard for him not to take into account what this commission have ask of him to do about the war in Iraq
