Check this definition in my source. I researched Pseudocyesis (or false pregnancy) a few years back and found it to be quite intriguing. Not sure what you feel about it, but it is another possibility. All the signs and symptoms are present, but the baby is obviously not. In some cases, the growing tummy these people exhibit will actually decrease to a normal size while sleeping. Food for thought I suppose. Hope this helps you out!

Well, it is the holidays. And with the holidays the adverage American gains a couple pounds. But if you are that worried, you may have taken these tests too soon. Go get a blood test done to be certain. Best wishes! And I would recommend asking the doctor for some birth control advice.

Best check with your doctor just to be sure. Do you have any other symptoms other than a growing tummy? Any nausea? Cramps? tenderness in the breasts? Change in appetite? A growing tummy is usually not the only indicator of pregnancy, especially early on. My tummy's growing, but I've just completed 4 months and it's just a little baby bump now, nothing really obvious. It's growing on it's own sweet time. :o)

I'd be attuned to any other symptoms you might be having - the ones mentioned above, as well as whether or not you've missed your period, etc....

Again, though - best course of action is to check with your doctor.

Good luck!

This is totally gross but may help you out. When I was 19 I started drinking beer at parties with friends. My stomach kept getting bigger and bigger and I thought I was getting a beer belly, hahaha. My parents kept confronting me about being pregnant but at that point I hadn't even had sex for the first time so it was impossible to be pregnant. I finally went to the doctor and inside my growing belly was cyst the size of a basketball, I know it's totally gross and hard to tell, but you should go to the Dr. for sure. Best Wishes!

If the tests are negative, your not pregnant (assume you took them after your period was due). I always gained weight while trying to get pregnant. There's nothing like chocolate for stress!!!! I'm sure it would have been for better me to exercise rather than eat. If you're not eating more, check with the doctor and make sure there's nothing else wrong. Good luck!

Apart from the tests, go for a thorough medical check up including a specialist check by a gyno.
