I get asked frequently what i want for Christmas. i really don't want people to buy for me and i feel wrong in asking for gifts.

I have the same problem. I am asked all the time what my two boys and myself need/want for christmas and birthdays. I am low income, and can't afford to buy a bunch of gifts for my whole family (very big!!), so I tell them that I don't need anything. They usually pick out things that they think I can use, some of it I use, but mostly junk that sits around.
If people really want to get you something, you can tell them things that interest you, and say that you don't want, or need anything, but these are things that you are in to. Good luck.

Tell them to donate to the Salvation Army, they always need help around Christmas. That way you don't feel uncomfortable about receiving gifts and the gift giver gets to do something good.

To most people it is a part of the Chistmas tradition that has been going on for hundreds of years. If the person that is asking you this then that person is most likely to be a Christian because he/she is "required" to get into the CHRISTmas Spirit.

Some people like buying for others though and like to get ideas on what to get.

good question I hate getting things for Christmas to just tell them like I do you don't want anything so don't get you anything.

people ask me the same thing .... and I tell them I don't know ... and in reality I don't know ... czy thing ... I don't ask for anything .. but I like giving christmas gifts
