As time passes sometimes people just grow apart. Usually they don't even realize it's happening until there is already a pretty good sized gap.
Other times someone might betray a friend, but in those cases the betrayer is just showing that they never really were a friend in the first place.

That's hard to answer really and its also a good question. People don't stay for any number of reasons so its really hard to say its just this or that. Sometimes it can be complicated, and other times it can something incredibly petty. Maturity, marriage, distance can be factors. One piece of advice that I give is to make as many friends as possible. You can never have enough.

The answer here is simple! The word "Friends" is used way too often in our lives. We meet a lot of people throughout our lifetime....these should really be called "Acquaintances." If we're truly, truly lucky, we get to have at least 1 friend in our lifetime!

The only answer is the best friends have different characters and different group of friends. Every one's opinion is different from each other and that sometimes clashes with one another.

Because people are changing all the time - their interests, their opinions, their views on life, everything. Sometimes, the cliche is true and you simply outgrow your best friend.
It's sad, but it's a part of life and who we are.
The good thing is that you, always, meet new people who share what you love.

because you didnt have a good foundation as just friends to begin with. Building friendship is just as important as building a relationship. So trust and communication and knowing each other are important

they don't stay best friends maybe because they weren't really friends in the first place. it's called growing up and apart. things that you once had in common don't matter anymore. it happens to everyone. it is very possible that friendship could rekindle.
